  • Dogs welcome

This site sits at Dan-yr-Ogof in the upper Swansea Valley, within the Brecon Beacons National Park and next to the National Showcaves Centre. There are two parts: a tent field, and a separate caravan and motorhome park where every pitch is hardstanding and fully serviced with electric, water and grey waste. Power comes from the site's own hydro generators and solar panels.

A central block has toilets and showers, a washing-up area, chemical disposal, a wash area for muddy dogs and bikes, and recycling. Wifi is free. Dogs stay free (two per pitch, on a short lead). Raised barbecues and fire pits are fine but ground fires are not. The owners do not take noisy groups. You will need to bring full gas cylinders, as none is sold locally.
