Springslade Lodge is a family-run tea room with a campsite attached, in the woods of Cannock Chase. The camping field has 19 grass pitches and 2 hardstanding pitches, some with electric hook-up, and takes tents, trailer tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes. Booking is done through an online calendar where you pick your dates, electric or not, and the type of unit you are bringing.

There is drinking water, waste disposal and a toilet and shower block on site, and the tea room is open most days for hot and cold food. The ground can be wet in places, so the owners ask you to ring before heading onto the grass. Mountain bike trails and the heathland and woods of the Chase start from the door.

If you would rather not camp, the Treetop Room is a loft conversion above the lodge that sleeps up to four.
