Irongorge Camping is on a hillside above the Severn Gorge in Coalbrookdale, with footpaths leading down into Ironbridge and the museums. Tent pitches face The Wrekin, and there is one small hardstanding pitch for a small campervan or a roof tent. Caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents are not taken.
Beyond the pitches there are glamping pods and two huts, all heated and open through the winter. You bring your own duvet (or hire one), towels and cooking kit; each pod has a fire pit, a kettle and power sockets, and the huts have their own cloakroom.
The shower block has a washing-up area at the back, and a freezer shed doubles as a USB charging spot. Dogs on leads are welcome, and logs and BBQ coal are on sale.
