Secret Valley is a family farm at Goathurst near Bridgwater, on the edge of the Quantock Hills, and it has no pitches for your own tent or van: everything here is a ready-made stay. Most people book one of the 17 wigwams, nine looking over the hills and eight among the vines. They have a fridge, microwave, fire pit and outdoor seating, and share the toilet and shower blocks.

Step up and there are three adults-only hillview wigwams with their own bathrooms and hot tubs, three adults-only shepherd's huts with wood-fired hot tubs, and three lodges with full kitchens that sleep up to six. Four bell tents offer real beds and futons for up to four. The farm also hosts weddings, corporate days and group exclusive hire, so check the dates if you want a quiet weekend. Dogs are allowed in the wigwams and one lodge.
