Retallack is the upmarket end of Away Resorts in Cornwall, built around a lake in the countryside near St Columb Major. There are no pitches or caravans: you stay in barn-style lodges, Lakehouses, Barnhouses, wooden lodges or one-bed lakeside apartments for two, and some of the roof terraces have hot tubs.

It works as an activity base. There is an indoor pool with sauna and steam room, the ESYA Spa, a gym, a beach cafe at the watersports lake, the Lookout Bar and Eatery, an outdoor playground, and the FlowRider, a stationary surf wave. Wake park and aqua park sessions run in the warmer months and are booked through the Away Resorts app up to three weeks ahead.
