Higher Moor
Quiet 23-pitch field and four basic chalets at the foot of a valley on Cubert Common, a walk from Porth Joke and Crantock beaches.

Higher Moor sits at the bottom of a valley on the edge of the National Trust's Cubert Common, down a lane past Treago Farm. The camping is a two-acre level field with 23 widely spaced pitches, most round the edge, each with its own picnic table. None have electric hook-ups.
Porth Joke is a 15-minute stroll and Crantock beach and village are about half a mile away. There are two toilet blocks with washing-up sinks, a freezer for ice packs, a laundry room and a disabled toilet and shower. Campers can use the shop and bar at Treago next door, and the owners sell home-grown salad and vegetables. Four self-catering chalets and a cottage (Nanis) are let on the same land.

Prices
Children under 2 are free. In the peak summer school holidays the minimum charge is the equivalent of 2 adults and 2 children per pitch. Payment by cash, cheque or bank transfer; no credit cards. Chalets can be booked per night for a minimum of 3 nights outside peak times.
