Big Caravan and Motorhome Club site on the North Downs just outside the M25 low emission zone, 35 minutes by train from London and open to non-members.

Alderstead Heath is a Caravan and Motorhome Club site in woodland on the North Downs edge, off Dean Lane above Merstham. It has 226 pitches, 214 for touring and 12 for tents, with 72 on hardstanding and all of them level. Non-members can book.
The Pilgrims Way and a Downlands Circular Walk start close by, and a pub, The Fox, is about 40 minutes on foot. Coulsdon South station is the nearest, and the Club says London is about 35 minutes by train. The site sits just outside the Ultra Low Emission Zone.
The site is staying open through winter 2026/27 while the Club's Gatwick campsite is closed for redevelopment. The gate barrier is shut between 23:00 and 07:00. Use the Club's directions for the final approach rather than sat nav, and do not come in from the A23 via Dean Lane.
