Monkey Tree is a 56-acre family park set back from the coast between Newquay and Perranporth. It is a full-on holiday park: Palm Bay, a heated outdoor pool with a splash zone and pirate ship, an indoor soft play, adventure golf, an arcade, kids' clubs and nightly shows in peak season, all included in a stay. Camping and touring guests get a ladder of pitches, from grass with electric up to Ultra Deluxe plots with a private shower room and an outdoor dining area on the pitch.

There is a supermarket, launderettes, a hire shop for fridges and surfboards and a couple of bars and food outlets. Dogs are accepted on designated pitches and in pet-friendly holiday homes, but not in the pool area, shop or toilet blocks. Open fires are banned, though raised barbecues are fine. It takes families and couples only, so no groups or singles unless arranged beforehand.
