Little Kings sits in the village of Ludchurch, about a mile and a half inland from Amroth and Saundersfoot, so the beaches are a short drive rather than a walk. It is a compact, family-run site. Touring pitches are spread over three areas: a picnic field, a field beside the play park and the camping meadow, and you can ask to be put near the play area or somewhere quieter. Tents and trailer tents have their own sloping, hedged meadow of just 29 pitches, and every pitch on the park has a 10 amp hook-up.

The main draw for a wet-weather holiday is the indoor pool under a glass roof, heated to at least 32 degrees and free for guests. There is also a small tavern with a log fire, a vintage-style cinema upstairs, an indoor play and games room, an outdoor play park with a climbing wall, a shop with fresh bakery, a launderette and a dog shower. For something other than a pitch you can rent a three-person chalet, or a four-bedroom cottage a minute up the lane that sleeps eight, ten with the shepherd's hut in the garden. No campfires, and groups of single-sex or under-18 guests are not accepted.

Bungalow a minute's walk from the park with two bathrooms, log burner, garden, private games room and parking. The shepherd's hut in the garden (double futon) can be added to sleep 10. Bedding and towels included. Arrive from 4pm, leave by 10am; £200 refundable deposit. No pets in the cottage. Park facilities are only available while the park is open.
