Fishery Creek Touring Park

Waterside touring park on a tidal creek at Hayling Island with a slipway, bistro and paddleboard hire, a short walk from the Blue Flag beach.

  • Dogs welcome
  • Near beach

Fishery Creek sits on a tidal creek that runs into Langstone Harbour, on the north side of Hayling Island. Pitches are a mix of drained grass and shingle, roped off and well spaced. The creekside prime pitches look over the water or the lake, the plus pitches are one row back and standard pitches are in the middle. Almost all have electric hook-up, and it takes everything from a small tent to a 10m caravan.

The park has its own slipway for launching small boats, kayaks and paddleboards, and people swim, crab and fish for bass from it. There is a bistro on site, a SUP hut for hire and lessons, a small shop in reception, a play area and a laundry room. The park holds a Gold David Bellamy conservation award and has wildlife verges and insect hotels.

It is open from 1 March to 31 October. Fires and fire pits are banned, and it is worth knowing the barrier shuts at 9pm and the minimum stay on advance bookings is two nights.
