Draughton Heights is on the Dales High Way a short drive from Skipton, on the southern fringe of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, with views over its lakes towards the Aire valley. There are grass pitches for tents, campervans and tent boxes, and three one-bedroom glamping pods under the pine woods.
Each pod has a cooker, fridge with small freezer and an en-suite bathroom, and costs from £110 a night with a two-night minimum. Campers have toilet blocks with hot showers, a washing-up room with a fridge, free wifi, and fire pits to hire. The lakes are unsupervised, so swimming is at your own risk and children need watching. The site is not staffed round the clock. Skipton is a ten-minute drive and Ilkley fifteen.
