Carrowmena sits beneath Binevenagh Mountain on the north coast, near Limavady. It is a car-free site for the camping and glamping areas, with a play area, football nets and a table tennis table, so it suits families with younger children. Eight tent pitches, six wooden pods and a furnished bell tent share a toilet block with free warm showers and a communal kitchen the site calls the Glitchen.

The pods have mezzanine bunks and a heater, but you bring your own bed linen; the bell tent comes fully made up. The old school house, built in 1936, is let to groups of up to 35. Pets are not allowed, and carts at the car park help you carry gear to your pitch.
