Tredegar House Country Park Club Campsite
Caravan and Motorhome Club touring site of 79 pitches beside a lake in Tredegar House Country Park, a mile from the M4 and 12 miles from Cardiff.
This is a Caravan and Motorhome Club site in the grounds of Tredegar House Country Park on the edge of Newport. The seven-acre field has a lake in the middle and 79 pitches, and it reopened in September 2024 after a redevelopment. It takes caravans, motorhomes and tents.
The country park next door has woodland, gardens and an adventure playground, and the 17th-century house is open from February to December. A pub, shop and supermarket are all within about a mile, and there is a bus stop about 25 minutes on foot. Junction 28 of the M4 is close, which makes it a handy overnight stop as well as a base for Cardiff.
