East Balthangie is a five-acre grass site about 600 feet up in Aberdeenshire, a few miles from New Byth and a 20-minute drive from Banff. It faces south-east, has trees along the northern edge for shelter, and sits close to the North Sea Cycle Route.
Pitches are serviced for caravans, motorhomes and tents, with a small non-electric pitch for a two-person bivvy tent. Showers are powered and free, there is a campers' kitchen with kettle and microwave, a laundrette, and a fenced two-acre dog exercise field. Wifi is free across the site.
