Cairnsmill sits on Largo Road on the outskirts of St Andrews, a short drive from the Old Course and the town's beaches. Most of the park is privately owned static caravans, but it also has serviced touring bays, five rental caravans, a few glamping pods and a bunkhouse for people who just need a bed in town.
Touring bays are wide, each with space for a car, a power hook-up and water tap, and sit close to the toilet and shower blocks and the laundrette. On site there is a heated swimming pool with a jacuzzi and sauna, a bar with weekend entertainment, a games room, a soft play area, a gym and a stocked fly-fishing reservoir. Pods are heated with a fridge, microwave and kettle but no dogs. The park says it is fully booked for The Open in 2027.
