Bainside sits on the edge of Kirkby on Bain, about five minutes from Woodhall Spa, around a 1.75-acre coarse fishing lake with roughly thirty pegs. The site is adults only and quiet by design. The touring field is level and well drained, with eight hardstandings, six grass pitches and sixteen electric hookups.

Two lakeside glamping pods each sleep two and come with a private fishing peg and a wood burner, though you bring your own bedding, towels and crockery. A two-bedroom holiday let beside the lake sleeps four. A small shop sells essentials and eggs from the owners' hens, and the village pub is next door. Well-behaved dogs are welcome at no charge.
