Share Discovery Village is a charity-run activity centre on a 60-acre estate beside Upper Lough Erne, a few miles from Lisnaskea in Fermanagh. It was built to be fully accessible to disabled people, and the same site also takes ordinary family campers, caravanners and groups. Tents go in a campsite field close to the leisure suite and the lough shore, with a small number of electric points handed out first come, first served. Ten touring pitches sit in their own corner of the estate with electric hook-up and awning space.
The glamping pods sleep two adults and two children on a sofa bed, have a private shower room and come with a breakfast bag, a welcome basket and a free swimming pool session. Larger parties can rent six to twelve berth chalets. Most of the draw is the programme: kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, archery, climbing, a water park and arts sessions run at Easter, bank holidays and through the summer, and there is a 15m pool with sauna and steam room. Dogs are accepted for a fee but campfires and fire pits are not allowed.
