No-frills members' CS two miles from Newport, handy for the ferries, cycling and red squirrel spotting.

Dogs welcome

A small Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site on three-quarters of an acre of gently sloping, well-sheltered ground about two miles from Newport and three from the main ferry terminals. There are no toilets or showers, just a fresh-water supply and a disposal point, so it suits self-contained campers.

Grass and hardstanding pitches are available, some with hook-ups. Buses to Newport and Ryde stop nearby and the area is good for walking, cycling and red squirrels. Dogs are welcome if kept under control and cleaned up after. The entrance is tight for very long caravans; campervans have no trouble.
