Cleethorpes Showground is a flat grassed touring and camping site on Meridian Road, owned by North East Lincolnshire Council, with room for up to 60 pitches. Fifty have 10-amp electric hook-ups and 14 of those are hardstanding. It is fenced, screened by trees and bushes, with a coded entrance barrier and CCTV at the gate.
The washrooms have ladies', gents' and an independent family and wheelchair room with a shower and baby changing. Free showers are included. Motorhomes can use a water fill-up point and a drive-over grey water drain. Prices include awnings and dogs, and there is a defibrillator and trained staff on site.
It is a walkable base: the beach and a cycle and foot path into Cleethorpes are close, with the events arena, light railway, cinema and leisure centre a few minutes away and the town centre about 15 minutes' walk. The boating lake is next door, a bus stop outside runs every 15 to 20 minutes, and the Lincolnshire Wolds are five miles away.
